Happy Anniversary card and 'Vintage' Scrapbook page

Hi there! Today we are celebrating my 31st Wedding Anniversary, so I thought I would share the quick card I made for Phil. I am so pleased that I made this a few weeks ago when I had a quick moment, as I haven't been feeling well enough to do much crafting lately. It's not often that I am that prepared though LOL!
This card was made with Blushing Bride Card stock, Twitterpated DSP and Mocha Morning flocked Speciality DSP, You Are Loved stamp set and embossed with Cherry Cobbler embossing powder. I love the gorgeous red Glimmer Paper which I used to punch the hearts and Decorative Label. Inside the card was matted with Whisper White Card and I stamped some images from the You are Loved stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink. It looks far better in real life, than in the photo, but as always, my photography isn't up to scratch (oooops!).

I am looking forward to tonight's meal as I've bought some Donald Russell Ribeye steaks to cook as an extra special treat! I still need to think of a special desert to make (gluten-free of course!).

I thought I would share the Scrapbook page I made in April (under the talented Carolyn's expert instruction) at the Tartan Stampers Mini Convention. The photo on this page was taken 31 years ago today LOL!

Happy Birthday....

.....to my lovely Auntie Pat!

I just couldn't help it ..... I just had to play with all these gorgeous products that are in the current Stampin' Up! Summer Mini Catalogue - The Twitterpated Designer Paper, Satin Pleated Ribbon, Apothecary Art Stamp Set, Framelits, Edglits, Embosslitts and my super-duper simply scored scoring tool to make the rosette/pin wheel. Wow!!  I love this card. Thankfully I was also able to part with the card and post it down to Auntie Pat, in the knowledge that she would love it too LOL! I don't want this catalogue to finish at the end of this month as I love everything in it.

Thank you cards for August!

Hi there!. Well I'm starting to feel a good bit better today and managed a short outing earlier today with Naomi my beautiful daughter. We had a lovely trip over to the pretty town of Banchory in Deeside, and finished up treating ourselves to an icecream to cool ourselves down a wee bit.

Today I'm sharing with you one of  the Thank You cards I've made for all my customers who place an order during August. These use the gorgeous Twitterpated Designer Series Papers, the Apothecary Art stamps cut out with matching Framelits dies, the Edglits dies, Embosslits, Baja Breeze Pleated Satin Ribbon, Baja Breeze Card stock, Pretty in Pink Card Stock. These are all some of my favourites from the current Summer Mini Catalogue. Do you like? Remember you can place an order with me anytime.

My Best Weekend Ever!!!

Hi there.  I've had the most wonderful time away the last 3 weekends. Just over a week ago, over 30 Tartan Stampers (Dawn Silver's downlines) met for 3 days of non-stop crafting.  It was heaven!  We had 28 Shoebox swaps to make and some fantastic classes too.  I hope to share some of these swaps and class projects over the coming weeks and months.

Today I thought I'd share this gorgeous Scrapbook Page we made at Diane's class. I used a photograph of my middle son Nathan and his beautiful fiancee Katie. Diane had given us a list of things to bring for the project, and being a slow crafter, I'd made the flowers up before, so I just had to glue them onto the page with all the other embellishments at the class.

Isn't this a gorgeous page?

It took ages to prepare and glue on all the components, but it was well worth it wasn't it ?
I used Pool Party 12" x 12" card at the back and First Edition DSP, topped with a sheet of Spice Cake DSP.  The other colour of card I used was Not Quite Navy.  The stamp set is the versatile Vintage Vogue. I love this page so much that I went into Aberdeen shopping and bought a black 12" deep frame to keep the page in and this should stop the flowers being crushed.

I hope you love this as much as I do!

Ribbons Galore

I've spent the day fixing samples of all the ribbons available from Stampin' Up! onto cards with their names above. I'm really pleased with the results.
This picture (I didn't take this myself) shows some of the gorgeous range of ribbons that co-ordinate with the card, ink, buttons and brads available to order from me. I love ribbons, incase you hadn't guessed LOL!
