This is my Stampin' Up! Diary, where I keep a note of everything I need to remember and more. I also made a matching bookmark to keep my page at today's date. I've covered it with the FREE Sale-a-bration Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper that I got FREE with my order over £45. This offer is on until 31st March 2012, so if you wish to place an order with me and choose your FREE gift, then you need to place your order soon. Ribbons Galore

I've spent the day fixing samples of all the ribbons available from Stampin' Up! onto cards with their names above. I'm really pleased with the results.
This picture (I didn't take this myself) shows some of the gorgeous range of ribbons that co-ordinate with the card, ink, buttons and brads available to order from me. I love ribbons, incase you hadn't guessed LOL!

Backpack gift bag

Good morning. Well did you all enjoy your pancakes yesterday, because my family certainly did. I cooked hundreds (big exaggeration, I know!!), but they kept asking for more.
Anyway, down to business. I was busy the other day and had a practice attempt at making this backpack gift Bag. It needs improving, I know, but this was my first attempt (excuses! LOL!).
This was made using Pacific Point and Pool Party (I know - Pool Party AGAIN!.It was stamped with VersaMark Ink and the medium flower from the stunning Everything Eleanor Stamp Set. The Rhinestone brads add some bling for the fasteners.
Hopefully we can meet tomorrow again!

Happy Anniversary

Hi there. I thought I would make this DL anniversary card and wanted to use the fabulous FREE Sale-a-bration Designer Papers. I made a quick cake using the papers and matted onto Pool Party, then onto Very Vanilla Cardstock.
The Calypso Coral cake stand was made usingthe scalloped border punch and the Owl Builder punch. The card is finished off with Calypso Coral ruffled ribbon and some flowers punched with the Boho blossoms punch!

Pool Party Water-baby

Hi there. I trust you all had a good relaxing weekend and are raring to go now it's Monday (LOL!). I know I always need a rest when Monday morning comes, after running about with the family over the weekend, but I wouldn't wish it any other way. I was out with my future DIL looking at card for her wedding invites. We travelled many miles and even visited two craft shops twice before we bought what we were looking for. The invites are simple and elegant and Anne would like to help me make them, so I'm really looking forward to our fun times together.

Anyway - back to today - and I thought I would show you a mini album I made using one 12"x12" sheet of Pool Party dotty paper from the 2011-2013 In Colour DSP and an A4 sheet of plain Pool Party card, finished off with the gorgeous ruffled Pool Party ribbon. It gives you a 3" square Album when finished - perfect for a Brag Book to fit into your Handbag!
The stamp set on the front and back covers was Bundle of Love.
Isn't little Scarlett cute swimming under water. She absolutely loves being under the water! She is definately a Water-baby!

Valentine Share

Hi There! I thought I would show you the cards that Phil & I made for each other for Valentines Day yesterday. Phil is a closet card-maker I think. I was so delighted that he'd taken time to make a card for me and printed an insert with a verse he'd made up. He even knew to trim the insert. He punched out the two red hearts and wrote our initials on them - how romantic!!! The funny thing is - he isn't a romantic at all, so this was a huge surprise and extra special. I'd made a card in cherry cobler - another swing card using the Top note die and the special stamp set You are loved from the Mini Catalogue. The gift box was made using the Cone Die and I filled it with mini Chocolate Hearts.

Swing Card

This card was made following the instructions from the clever Teri. that she had submitted for publication in Papercrafts Inspiration. This card isn't nearly as pretty as Teri's, but I wanted to try the special fold using the BigShot.
It has my favourite colour - Pool Party included with the pretty Calypso Coral complimenting each other. The stamp is from the FREE Sale-a-bration stamp set called Fresh Vintage. Enjoy!

I started another project and totally messed it up LOL! Anyway when I finally completed a card, I took a photo, then discovered this photo I took on Friday ready for posting today, but had forgotten about - ooops!!! Anyway, here are some of the bags I made following this wonderful video from Frenchie

I made the bags with some of my precious Mocha Morning Designer Series Papers
They are perfect to add a small gift for a friend. Aren't they cute?

I made some quick a simple Sweetie Treats and filled them with Valentine surprises for family and friends.

French Elegance

Hi there crafters.  Today's post is scheduled as I'm out day and evening, so thought I'd play safe incase I was home late!

This simple but elegant card is stamped onto Bashful Blue card with VersaMark Ink and White Stampin' Emboss Powder.  I've used the En Francais stamp and one of the pretty FREE stamps from the Elementary Elegance set which is FREE in the Sale-a-bration if you order Stampin' Up! goods which total over £45.  I adore this set. I've used the Curly Label Punch, some pretty Pearls and  a Whisper White Organza ribbon bow to finish this elegant card off - quick and simple!
Oh... PS - I forgot to say that I edged the stamped and punched images with the White Signo Gel Pen.

I have scheduled another post for tomorrow, just in case I need a day to recover from today. LOL!

Beary 1st Birthday

Good afternoon to you.  I promised you a picture of little Scarlett's 1st Birthday card, so here it is:
I had seen a polymer clay teddy in a picture in a craft magazine and thought I could make a similar one punching card, so here's my attempt, which I was quite pleased with.  It was made with Pink Pirouette, Very Vanilla, Soft Suede card and inked with Melon Mambo.  I used the pretty Create a Cupcake stamp set and cupcake builder punch, along with a few other favourite punches from the Stampin' Up! range. If you would like a list of all the punches used, then feel free to email me.  Enjoy the rest of your day.

Love is in the air...

Thought I'd show these wee cherry cobbler Valentine Baubles I made yesterday.  Can you see the lovely sparkle that I spritzed on using the Champagne Shimmer Paint mixed with Rubbing Alcohol.  It gives a lovely finish.
This is made with the 119883 Full HeartPunch.

Made using the wonderful
117332 Scalloped Heart of Hearts
Tomorrow I need to make a card for little Scarlett's 1st Birthday.  I will show you my attempt when it's finished. Thanks for stopping by.

Pretty in Pink

Hi there!  Did you have a good weekend?  Ours was busy as usual - my sons always turn up with their girlfriends just as I'm getting a meal organised.  Ususally it's mainly a Sunday, but this time it was Saturday evening meal and Sunday brunch and evening meal LOL!  I love it when everyone comes round as the house is so lively.

Anyway I've had a busy day in the craftroom today getting a few things organised.  Mind you it looks like a bomb site now as I spent two hours looking for my gorgeous red Glimmer Paper, which I forgot was in a scrapbook bag hanging on the back of the door Duh!!!

Nevermind.  I finished off a quick scrapbook page in Pretty in Pink and Bashful Blue and the Stamp Sets were Fox and Friends and Bundle of Love.  It also gave me a chance to use some more of the discontinued Simply Scrappin' Love Stories Scrapbooking set. This cute photo is my Cousin's little girl Scarlett trying to talk.  It was taken last summer and I can't believe she's going to be One year old on Valentine's day.  Doesn't time pass quick?

Thanks for stopping by.  Hope to see you tomorrow when I'll show you some Valentine treats I've been making today.  Bye for now. x

Practice Run Workshop

Thought I would take a break from showing you the cards etc we made at training day and show you a photo or two of the 'Practice Run Workshop' my crafting buddy Carol & I had with close friends and relations when we'd just joined in December.
Here are some of our guests who came along to support us.

Look what the lovely Anne surprised us with - a gorgeous cake.  I must admit that I cried when I saw this wonderful cake she brought for both Carol & I.

We had such a laugh and at the end of the evening, Carol and I thought we should both pose for 'the official cake-cutting photo' LOL!

Levels 1 - 3

Hi there.  Today I thought it would be good to show the results of Elaine's lesson and will show you this card in three different levels ie. each card has more elements added than the one before.
Level One above

Level Two above

Level Three card above

Aren't they lovely.  I love the Elementary Elegance Stamp Set from the Sale-a-bration offer.  Unfortunately, due to my poor photography, the gorgeous Very Vanilla Velvet Ribbon looks a totally different colour to the lovely creamy colour it actually is.  You can check out the ribbon in the Spring Mini Catalogue.

Well I'm off to bed for a snooze now as I haven't had enough sleep whilst I was away at Mum's.  She is out of hospital, but they want her to go back in sometime for two days.  She's catching up on her lost sleep now LOL!!!

See you tomorrow.

Notebook - Fresh Vintage

Hi there.

Today I thought I would show you the fantastic A5 Notebook Cover we made and decorated with Dawn. I'm sorry about the poor colours - I'm not good with photography, so need to improve that!!

It uses the perfect combination of Lucky Limeade, Poppy Parade, Very Vanilla and Pool Party colours..  The gorgeous papers  are FREE from the Sale-a-bration offer that is on just now and they were cut, along with a piece of chipboard, using the Scalloped Square die. The Fresh Vintage Stamp Set (another FREE set from the Sale-a-bration offer!, which you can have too, if you place an order with me for £45 or over. Another die - the pretty Butterfly Big Shot  Die was used with Poppy Parade. Then we used the 1/2" circle punch for the Just Perfect Alphabet letters stamped onto Very Vanilla card.  The book was beautifully finished with a pretty punched strip of Pool Party across the top.
What a lovely gift this would make for someone!

Thanks for looking.
