Apothecary Art Birthdays

Hello crafter. I trust you've had a great weekend. Today I thought I would have a wee break from my Christmas craft preparation and share a couple of birthday cards I made for some of the family last month.

This first card was a simplified but copied version (minus the gorgeous ribbon flower) from the incredibly talented Lorraine Harrison-Rogers who designed a card for a Swap we did earlier in the year. I love the Stampin' Up! Brushed Gold cardstock that she introduced me to and I have often used it since. I knew my Mother-in-law would love this card and the colours too. Thank you for your inspiration Lorraine!
This second card was using the same stamp set Apothecary Art and again the Labels Collection Framelits, but a bit different from the other card.
This card uses the Lacy Brocade Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, instead of the Vintage Wallpaper Folder in the first card. I thought it was a pretty card as well.

I hope you are having a good day. Thank you for visiting. Please call back again.

Happy Birthday....

.....to my lovely Auntie Pat!

I just couldn't help it ..... I just had to play with all these gorgeous products that are in the current Stampin' Up! Summer Mini Catalogue - The Twitterpated Designer Paper, Satin Pleated Ribbon, Apothecary Art Stamp Set, Framelits, Edglits, Embosslitts and my super-duper simply scored scoring tool to make the rosette/pin wheel. Wow!!  I love this card. Thankfully I was also able to part with the card and post it down to Auntie Pat, in the knowledge that she would love it too LOL! I don't want this catalogue to finish at the end of this month as I love everything in it.

Thank you cards for August!

Hi there!. Well I'm starting to feel a good bit better today and managed a short outing earlier today with Naomi my beautiful daughter. We had a lovely trip over to the pretty town of Banchory in Deeside, and finished up treating ourselves to an icecream to cool ourselves down a wee bit.

Today I'm sharing with you one of  the Thank You cards I've made for all my customers who place an order during August. These use the gorgeous Twitterpated Designer Series Papers, the Apothecary Art stamps cut out with matching Framelits dies, the Edglits dies, Embosslits, Baja Breeze Pleated Satin Ribbon, Baja Breeze Card stock, Pretty in Pink Card Stock. These are all some of my favourites from the current Summer Mini Catalogue. Do you like? Remember you can place an order with me anytime.

It is jam-packed with loads of exciting New Crafting Products including Framelits, embosslits, pleated satin ribbon, bakers twine, new stamp sets, fabric, DSP, Simply Scored Tool, dies and tons more...  It is honestly the best ever... yes I'm excited LOL!
I made this card for a swap with a fellow demonstrator using some of the new products...

This is made in Baja Breeze and Blushing Bride colours.  I've used the new Framelits dies, new pleated satin ribbons, new jelly brads, new Twitterpated DSP and one of the stamps from the new Apothecary Art set which fit perfectly inside the framelits.  Can you see why I'm so excited about these new products - they're gorgeous!  I'm off to play with some more new products and I'll show you later what else I've made.  Have a good day! xx
