Perfectly Preserved ...

...That's the name of the stamp set - not me LOL! Here are just a couple of the cards I've made:
The first card was stamped onto the Stampin' Up! White Vellum a4 Card Stock and the Bashful Blue Ink was painted onto the back of the image with a Blender Pen.

This card is more or less a direct case from here. It was a great chance to try out the new In Colours 2012-2014. Helen's card does look far neater though (and a far better photo).

The Canning Framelits Dies from the current Autumn/Winter Catalogue that have been used to cut the jar and lid cover are shown here:

and the stamp set

That's all for today, but please remember to pop back for a visit this Monday 1st October 10am for the big ILWS Blog Hop which will showcase some stunning projects from the new Annual Catalogue which launches that morning and the current new Autumn/Winter Catalogue that was launched this month! I'm so excited to see everyones creations!

NEW In-colours 2012-2014 Thank you cards

Hello crafters. Today I 'm going to share this month's Thank You cards. They are smaller than my usual, being only 3" square, but I'm really please with how they turned out and I thought I would share with you the brand new Stampin' Up! In-colours for 2012 - 14.

The base card colour is Midnight Muse (a lovely deep blue). The mat is in Summer Starfruit (a deep grapefruit colour), the large flowers are stamped in Primrose Petals ink and the smaller flower in Raspberry Ripple ink, with Gumball Green ink stems and leaves. The Thank You oval is stamped with Midnight Muse ink and punched out with the Small Oval Punch. The inkpads are new too - the NEW Clasic Stampin' Pads are a sponge base, replacing the previous felt base pads, so give a lovely even coverage with only 1 or 2 very light taps with the stamp onto the ink and the 'even better' news is that they are still the same price and size for only £4.95 each - YEAH!

I was so excited when my order arrived with my new Perfectly Preserved Stamp Set (contains 14 stamps in total). I bought these as a bundle, with the matching Framelit Dies (contains 7) and saved myself £6.40 (you can save £7.40 if you buy the Wood Mount stamps). I will share a couple of cards tomorrow made with the jar.

I am absolutely loving this set and have made many cards in the last few days. I also intend to use this set to make my label tags for tying to my Christmas Cranberry Jelly gift jars (when I get around to making the Jelly LOL!). If you would also love to order any of the items featured here, then please contact me. and I can have the order sent direct to you. Thank you for calling by today.

Man Flu?..Get Well wish

I'm sure we all know some poor soul who's been knocked flat with a fluey cold just now. I heard of a few friends last week who were laid low, but I just didn't have the time to make any cards, so this week I've made quite a stack of these to keep ready.
Isn't this cute? I loved the idea when I first saw this. The original idea came from this blog. and I changed the sizes of the wee tissue box to suit the European metric sizes (though I still prefer the old inches measurements!) and I also used different punches at the front so the gap for the tissue wasn't so large. The DSP paper size for the box was 8cm x 6cm and scored and 0.5cm and 1cm all round.

Gift tin of Tags in New In-Colours

Hello crafters! Today I'm sharing a couple of tins I decorated last week using the new In Colors which are going to be in the new Annual Catalogue due out on 1st October. I've used Gumball Green and Raspberry Ripple colours which go well with the new Snow Festival Designer Series Papers that I used for the base and dividers in the tins. I've had these tins sitting around in my craft room for over 2 months now and have been thinking of ideas to use them for. I thought these would make good gifts. Here's closer view:

and the other tin:

Last year I made my own box using Rich Razzleberry colours and the same stamp set Tags til Christmas. I covered the box with Window Glass and decorated with the gorgeous Wide Striped Grosgrain Ribbon which I am so sad to see retired this month, so I've been buying up a few of my favourite colours which are in the Retired Lists here.

I am so glad the stamp set is staying as Tags til Christmas is a fantastic set that requires no cutting out, as Stampin' Up! sell punches available for all the stamps!!!! Email me if you are interested in ordering any Stampin' Up! products. Remember the Retired list items are selling out VERY fast.

Retired List Blog Hop - ILWS

Hello and welcome to the In Love With Stamping Retired List Blog Hop today.

If you are following the Blog Hop, you should have arrived here from the lovely talented Julie's blog.

We are giving you the last chance to see some of our favourtie Stampin' Up! stamp sets which are being discontinued and to give you the last chance to order anything you fancy from the Retired Stamp List before they disappear for good (they are selling out fast) - once they are all sold - they're gone!!! :(

You can only order Stampin' Up! products from a Demonstrator, such as myself.

My favourite stamp sets that I am sharing with you from the Stampin' Up! Retired Stamp List today is the wonderfully versatile Baroque Motifs set 113490 (6 stamps), Contempo Christmas set 120594 (4 stamps)  and Welcome Christmas Stamp Set 120597 (5 stamps).

This first card is a Gate-fold card in Stampin' Up! Old Olive coloured Cardstock. I've stamped the baubles and sentiment from Contempo Christmas stamp set in Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler Ink and the branches were from the Baroque Motifs set.

This top-fold card is made using the Stampin' Up! Cherry Cobbler Card stock and I've stamped one of the images from Welcome Christmas stamp set in white ink and embossed with white embossing powder. The Joy sentiment stamp is from this same stamp set too.

Here's another card in Real Red Card stock. I've attached a piece of Stampin' Up! Vellum Card Stock to the card using Clear Rhinestone Brads, then stamped and embossed the sentiment and trees in white. These are from the Contempo Christmas stamp set.The shimmery area at the bottom was made by scribbling a 2-way glue pen and sprinkling Dazzling Diamonds glitter over the glued area.

My final card for today is made with Baja Breeze Card stock. The window was made using a Stampin' Up! square punch and backed with Stampin' Up! window sheet. I've stamped an image from Welcome Christmas behind the window in black ink.  The windowsill was glittered with Dazzling Diamonds and the Merry Christmas sentiment is from Contempo Christmas and punch out with the large oval punch, backed onto some Island Indigo card and matching ribbon at the top.

If you'd like to order any Stampin' Up! products through me, just drop me a note here.

I trust you've enjoyed your visit here today at Pearsonified Crafting. You are very welcome to come back and visit any time. Now you have an invitation to go over to visit the lovely Emma who is waiting to welcome you at her blog.

Here's a picture of the Swap I designed for Saturday's  Tartan Stamper's Demonstrator swap. Do you like the new Snowflake Die from the new Autumn/Winter Catalogue? I love it. I also used the Festival of Prints Designer Series Paper Stack 126904 which is only £6.25 for 48 sheets. The designs remind me of all my past favourite designs, but smaller and different colours. The double-sided sheets are 11.4cm x 16.5 cm, so a perfect size for  for mounting your 6" x 4" photos into a scrapbook. Contact me if you wish to order anything from the new catalogue.

I have made up a PDF tutorial for the gift bag and drawers. If you would be interested in a copy of the tutorial, then please email me, to ask for a copy. I only ask that if you use it in any way, then you give the credit back to me.

Cute Baby Mini Albums

Hello crafters. I thought I would share these wee Baby Mini Albums that I made a couple of months ago after I had seen a YouTube video from Dawn Griffiths. It's so quick and easy. The main album is made from just scoring and folding one 12 x 12 sheet of card stock. I made these using Stampin' Up! Bashful Blue and Pretty in Pink Card Stock and matching Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack and matching Classic Stampin' Ink Pads. This stamp set which I absolutely adore is the cute Baby Prints Stamp Set which was in the Summer Mini Catalogue (it's worthwhile if you check out the new Annual Catalogue which comes out next month to see if it's still available!!!).
Here's an ariel view with the belly band off and the Album opened.
Contact me if you wish to purchase any of these materials.
I was just thinking, since I've been sharing photos of views from my house windows this week, I will share some of the fantastic views I have whilst I sit and craft.

Cascading Birthday Again... but not so overloaded!

Hello crafters. Today I'm showing you the card I made for my friend Iris' birthday last week.
This quick card was made using Stampin' Up! So Saffron 12 x 12 cardstock and cut at 4" across to 8" and scored at 3, 6 and 9 inches. The Scalloped Trim border was in Wild Wasabi colour with a small trim of Perfect Plum. The Blossom Party flowers were cut in Perfect Plum and Wild Wasabi. The Butterflies were punched with the new Elegant Butterfly punch which will be available from 1st October next month (yay!). I tried to resist the temptation to overdo the butterflies again haha! I will be back tomorrow with something different to show you, incase you are thinking that I only do Cascading Cards LOL!
Since I shared the Roe Deer photos yesterday, I thought I would share a few photos I took from my kitchen window of the Combining in the barley field

I love the hum of the Combine Harvesters (well it's much louder than a hum actually - more of a roar). The tractors drive back and forth up to the grain store with their trailers laden with barley. There's such a buzz of excitement in the air (and a whole load of dust!). I always get such a strong feeling of well-being and thankfulness when it's Harvest Time!

Cascading Birthday... overloaded with butterflies

Hello! I've had a busy week with birthdays. This Cascading Card was made for a crafting friend who loves flowers and butterflies. I know... I well and truly overdid the butterflies LOL!!!!  I've been visiting a friend in Inverness who had the new Butterfly Punch that is going to be available here in the UK next month from 1st October. As you can see, I had punched a load out as I loved these butterflies too! The butterfly bodies were filled with the new Stampin' Up! Dazzling Details Silver Sparkle glitter adhesive 127845. The card was made using a 12 x 12 sheet of Rose Red Cardstock and trimmed with Perfect Plum Scallop Trim Border. The flowers were cut with the Stampin' Up! Blossom Party Originals Die and the Boho Blossoms Punch in Perfect Plum and Baja Breeze colours. The leaves were punched from the Bird Builder Punch. Some of the wee flowers had a pretty Stampin' Up! Rhinestone Jewel added to the centres.
Just before I go and get on with some more crafting, I thought I would share a photo taken from my craftroom window about 6.30am one morning last week. It's some Roe deer making the most of the barley before harvesting started the following day.
